Hi my name is Julie Ambos, I am a photographer born and raised in Savannah Georgia, who is family focused, loves the outdoors and currently enjoys living in sunny but most certainly quirky Key West, Florida. I love the camera and all that it allows me to see. My goal is to get close and intimate with subject that I would normally keep my distance from. I mainly shoot weddings, Day in the Life sessions and personal projects. I truly believe in practicing and pushing myself to constantly strive to create better images. I personally love shooting weddings, as they provide unlimited moments and countless emotional filled events. However, I have found myself gravitating toward personal projects, which are extremely unpredictable and non-linear, continually challenging myself to find the story. These projects provide me with the creative freedom that I crave in my work but I especially love that you sometimes end up in a different place than where you started. How the story evolves and unfolds is what I love the most. People constantly intrigue me and creating images allows me to see a different perspective of people and their relationships with one another.
